Over the past two weeks, I have been hard at work shooting, drinking, editing, drinking, sleeping - only sometimes, and shooting some more down here in New Orleans. Anyways, what has become of such reckless times is a new series entitled "Live From The Saint". (Brief History) The Saint is the most legendary bar in the Lower Garden District, if not New Orleans - and the bands who pass on through The Saint always seem to give some of the best performances I have seen in long while. I hope to document the shows as they usually are: loud, raw, and full of energy. There are future plans for an actual film, but for now - I have decided to begin releasing some of my favorite captured live performances in all their harsh, smoke-filled, green-lit beauty for you to enjoy. You can watch most of them by clicking on the link above. Be sure to subscribe, because there are plenty more videos on the way! Enjoy! xoxo
Been wearing the same socks for two a half weeks and the bottoms have begun to harden. Lost 13 pounds but haven't felt this good in years. Editing over load. First time working in Hi-Def, and am extremely excited. Surrounded by incredible music, and many sleepless nights filled with creative energy and inspirational moments. Growing interest in lo-fi electro and world music. Rabbit Liver Pate is my new favorite food. Decided to write a novel, but haven't begun yet. Recording an album inspired by Solid Space, the bayou and absinthe. Began writing a screenplay called 'Sugar Kane", but will not yet say what it is about. Think I look good in a tie. Decided to hold off on my voodoo documentary due to some personal reasons - will only go into details in person. Loving being in a city with so much pride. Love King Cake. & especially love how Sundays no longer have a feel. Love cocktail hour and Sazeracs' (maybe a little to much). Other than that, there is so much more, but my hands would cramp from writing. Just ask.
